Stainless steel 201 screws in the process of electrolytic polishing, electrolysis time and salt spray time is a great relationship, then how is the relationship between them?
The material we use in this experiment is 201 stainless steel screws, but the workpiece is non-standard, the material is very poor, known to be exposed to water in the air after 30 minutes of exposure to rust very serious situation.
The experimental potion is with stainless steel electrolytic polishing solution, the temperature is uniformly controlled at 75 degrees Celsius, the voltage is uniformly controlled at 9.2 volts, the current is uniformly controlled at 12 amps, respectively, with 1~10 minutes to do electrolytic polishing, comparing their salt spray test time and anti-rust performance.
Pictures of stainless steel electrolytic polishing solution after electrolysis:
After the electrolysis was completed, 10 cups were soaked in 5% brine, and the results were as follows:
Pictures after soaking in salt water:
The following conclusions were drawn through this test:
1. The longer the electrolysis time, the more delicate the surface gloss of the workpiece.
2. After electrolysis, the antirust property is obviously improved.
3. It is not the case that the longer the electrolysis time, the longer the antirust performance.
